21 Day Challenge!

The U-TURN Youth Group @ MCC is doing a 21 Day Challenge to prepare their hearts for the upcoming 2009 See You At The Pole, and we'd love for you to join us!
The way it works is: each day, for 21 days, a short devotional will be posted on the U-TURN BLOG. Simply use the devotion for insight and as a guideline to study the Word. Afterwards, spend a few minutes in prayer, praise and listening to God.
Studies show that if you repeat something for 21 days straight, it will become a habit. We want daily quiet time with God to become a habit in our life. We are believing God for awesome things to happen in the next 3 weeks and would love to have you join us!

My Desire

What is your greatest desire? Riches? Fame? Happiness? Success? All of those things are great, but as children of God, our greatest desire should be to be used by Him. Every morning, we need to surrender ourselves, lay everything at His feet, and ask Him to use us in a mighty way today. There are certain people that only YOU can reach. If you are not willing to be used by God, how will they be reached?
I encourage you to surrender to be used by Him everyday. Be willing to surrender your all to Him and let Him use you to touch someone's life.
I love this Jeremy Camp song, "My Desire". This song should be the cry of our heart every morning when we wake up! Listen to the words and let it minister to you today!

I LOVE the song "Take It All" by Third Day. It's so reassuring to know that no matter what stresses or dissapointments we go through in life, God is always there waiting for us to cast our cares on Him. We Are So Excited!!!

Our Worship Team is so excited about our upcoming Spring Women's Conference! We have been working really hard, preparing for an awesome time of praise & worship, as well as, Word! We have been praying and seeking the face of God to show us what music to do that will open and touch the hearts of every woman that attends, and will usher in the very presence of God! We know that in His presence is where we will find our joy, peace, strength and any other need that we may have.
Our team is so excited about the new songs that we will be introducing as the conference approaches and we hope you will love them too!!
Join us in praying for our conference! Our desire is that everything we do will bring glory and honor to our God.

We rediscovered an older song (1999) at worship practice tonight! I love the words to this song by Marty Sampson at Hillsong. It invites God to dwell in our lives and have His way everyday and in our church services. So pause our playlist and check it out in the video below!
